Senior Manager Accounting - Business Transition Support (12-Month Contract)

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate finance activities supporting business transition and operational continuity.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and general ledger support activities.
• Review billing calculations, recharge schedules, and customer invoicing activities.
• Monitor account reconciliations, intercompany settlements, and month-end close deliverables.
• Support financial analysis, accrual reviews, and transition-related reporting requirements.
• Identify operational risks, resolve issues, and escalate significant matters when appropriate.
• Coordinate workload and priorities across temporary support resources and finance teams.
• Partner with business, operations, procurement, and accounting stakeholders to ensure successful transition execution.
• Provide management updates and support governance reporting throughout the transition period.
• Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Prior experience leading accounting operations and month-end close processes.
• Strong ERP system knowledge (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience supporting business transitions, carve-outs, divestitures, or integration projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and operational teams.
• Experience in multinational manufacturing environments.

Job Summary The Senior Manager will provide leadership and oversight of finance operations supporting a business divestiture and related transition support services. The role will coordinate accounting execution across accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory and cost accounting, and general ledger processes while ensuring continuity of operations throughout the transition period. This position will serve as a key coordinator across finance, operations, procurement, and business teams to support issue resolution, governance, and successful execution of transition-related activities.
