RELIEF Mental Health Direct Care Professionals (Relief Residential Service Technicians) Pay rate : $20.50/hour + $2/hour shift differential for overnight hours worked between 10p - 8a No experience necessary -- we provide all trainings to become MHRT-1 certified! The Opportunity Alliance is seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, Per-Diem, and Awake/Overnight Residential Service Technicians to join our residential program teams. Our residential pr ograms provide trauma-informed treatment and support services to adults living with mental illness complicated by co-occurring chronic health conditions as well as a potential substance use disorder. These positions provide direct service in the residential group care or transitional living setting. As a direct care worker and mental health support specialist, you will provide personal support and supportive counseling to our residents. You will be part of a clinical team utilizing the tasks of daily living as instrumental treatment components while also helping to create a sense of permanency with a home like environment. In addition, you will contribute to identifying needs or emerging needs, physical and mental health wellbeing, medication administration, personal support, watchful oversight, and milieu management. You will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized facility and in maintaining staff office, charts and documentation. These positions attend weekly or bi-weekly program staff meetings, and participate in other meetings as necessary. Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Program Director or Program Coordinator. ** This role is required by the State of Maine to have proof of immunization or documented immunity against rubeola (measles), mumps, rubella (German measles), varicella (chicken pox), Covid-19, and seasonal influenza, hepatitis B (optional). Medical exemption may be accommodated with a written statement from a licensed medical professional. The Agency may assist with obtaining vaccines or proof of immunity if needed** Schedule : This is a Relief (per diem) role. There is no set schedule; hours cannot be guaranteed. These programs operate on a 24 hour/day, 7 days a week basis. Various shifts will be available. Willingness to have availability on weekends/holidays may be required. Location : Programs are located in Portland and South Portland, ME.
