As an Intelligence Research Specialist, you will represent the organization on committees and working groups; participate in developing and drafting policies, procedures, analyze and evaluate large volumes of intelligence materials. Selective Placement Factor: You must have completed one or more of the following formal, accredited United States Government Intelligence Community training programs for All-Source Intelligence, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), Imagery intelligence (IMINT), or Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT). Your resume must specify the title of the course completed and the related intelligence discipline. You must provide documentation (such as a certificate, transcript, or DD-214) to validate your response. This experience must be documented in your resume. Failure to do so may result in an ineligible rating. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the majority of the following duties: Preparing intelligence studies, intelligence analyses, or intelligence assessments related to immigration fraud trends; Evaluating, testing, and validating intelligence research reports related to identify national security concerns; Identifying immigration benefit fraud trends and patterns through analysis of large volumes of raw data; Producing raw intelligence reports in the form of Intelligence Information Report (IIR).
