About the role

As part of our diverse team based in Melbourne , you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose. In this newly created role, you will play a key part in supporting the sustainability and growth of EML by driving proactive injury management strategies across claims teams and providing specialist technical guidance and support. Working closely with leaders and claims professionals, you will help ensure best practice injury management outcomes while building technical capability and consistency across the team. This will be a full time, permanent position based in our Melbourne office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical and injury management reviews to ensure proactive claims strategies, effective communication, and strong recovery outcomes are being achieved.
  • Provide specialist technical guidance, coaching, and support to claims teams, building capability and promoting best practice claims management.
  • Partner with Team Leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that support key performance objectives, quality outcomes, and business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and contributing to positive customer and employer experiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support quality assurance requirements, and deliver training, claims reviews, and technical support to enhance team performance and consistency.
  • ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in injury management and claims management within a fast-paced Workers Compensation environment, including complex, long-term, litigation and work capacity claims.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health discipline such as Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Victorian Workers Compensation legislation, WorkSafe Victoria requirements, the Clinical Framework, and best-practice injury management principles.
  • Proven ability to identify capability gaps, develop and deliver training programs, and provide technical coaching to support team performance.
  • Highly developed communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail and a focus on achieving positive return-to-work and customer outcomes.
