Cleaner - Job Scope Job Title Cleaner Job Responsibilities General Cleaning Duties Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. Clean windows, glass panels, and mirrors. Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly. Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and common areas. Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Maintenance of Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at assigned premises. Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly stored after use. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures. Handling Cleaning Equipment Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and polishing machines. Use cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition. Workplace Safety Follow workplace safety and health regulations. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Ensure work areas remain safe and free from hazards during cleaning activities. Other Duties Assist with ad-hoc cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Support deep-cleaning activities during special events or periodic maintenance. Cooperate with clients and colleagues to ensure a clean and pleasant environment.
