Your Opportunity Our Oakville office is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services to join our Corporate Restructuring team. This is a new role, and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records; Assessing companies' current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts; Preparing integrated cash flow models; Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds, and financial restructurings (formal or informal); Participating in practice development opportunities; and Flexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non-business hours. Your experience and education 2 - 3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (in Audit an asset) Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program CPA designation is considered an asset Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off-site locations may be required.
