About the role
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Possibility of hybrid or remote work.
Responsibilities
- Provides varied project controls support which includes:
- Primavera P6 utilization,
- schedule development and maintenance,
- cost analysis and controls,
- earned value measurement, and
- reporting.
- Facilitates internal team communication and meetings.
- Assists with customer interactions, including tracking project management deliverables and presenting project management status to external or internal customers.
Requirements
- Education & Years of Experience - Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work, or a high school diploma with 20+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work
- Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
- Clearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance.
- Must have demonstrated verifiable experience (min. of 10 years) with Primavera P6
- Must have experience with schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
- Must be able to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.
- Active DOE "Q" clearance or active DoD "Top Secret" clearance highly desired.
