About the role

- 1-year outsourced contract (Renewable & Convertible) - $4800 - $6500 + Offsite stand-by allowance $200 - Mon to Fri: 8:30am - 6pm - AMK Job Responsibilities: Deploy and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to meet stringent SLA requirements. Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs using tools like Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, providing timely and effective support. Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement cloud-native solutions. Managing and document system configurations Generate relevant administrative records and reports Offsite standby after office hours Period: 1-year outsourced contract (Renewable & Convertible) Location: Ang Mo Kio Working hours: Mon - Fri; 8:30am - 6pm Salary: $4800 - $6500 + Offsite stand-by allowance $200 Job Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. Certified in Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Minimum 2 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Special Knowledge or Skills: - Strong understanding of core GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and networking. - Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform. - Experience with Google Distributed Cloud (Air Gap/Edge) - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash). - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience with big data technologies on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc). In order of priority: 1) Google Cloud Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer) - Must have 2) Experience in Google Cloud implementation and operations 3) Redhat Certification (Redhat System Administrator) 4) Kubernetes certification (CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator or CKAD - Certified Kubernetes Application Developer). 5) Experience in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (preferably GKE).
