About the role
You will drive the strategy and end-to-end implementation of programming focused on optimizing the provider experience. You will collaborate cross-functionally and partner closely with internal teams to manage complex project plans and deliver impactful outcomes. Future models could potentially involve a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area. #LI-Remote Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $134,136 - $176,053 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Help achieve and execute the strategy for department-specific programs
- Manage important cross-functional projects from definition to delivery, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, and post-launch iteration.
- Define success criteria and use data fluency to analyze performance, own root-cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate existing workflows to identify gaps and build operating plans that improve department projects.
- Improve consensus and align with leadership on overarching needs, building complex projects.
- Help grow direct reports (as applicable) and provide mentorship to promote colleagues' professional development.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements
- 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
- Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
- 4+ years of experience in product management and program management
- Bonus points:
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs
- Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
- Comfort and experience working with technology stakeholders to ideate and leverage tech solutions to drive business value
- Knowledge of U.S. health insurance business models and dynamics, especially related to initiatives targeting the provider experience
- Master's Degree
- PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications
