- Ability to remain calm and focused with critical or neurologically impaired patients
- Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and hospital flow
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn advanced procedures and specialty diagnostics
- Schedule : Four 10-hour shifts, with one weekend day
- Salary : $19.00 - $23.00 / hour based on experience

About the job : We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our Neurology team in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital. This role supports board-certified neurologists and experienced technicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with neurological conditions. In this position, you will play a key role in patient handling, anesthesia support, diagnostics, and client communication. You'll assist with advanced imaging procedures, surgical preparation, and inpatient care for complex neurological cases such as seizures, spinal cord injuries, and brain disease.
