With over a century of heritage, Baker Hughes partners with customers in oil and gas, industrial sectors, and emerging energy markets to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable energy future Fuel your passion The HSE Lead Logistics & Transportation is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) across all logistics, transportation, warehousing and material handling activities performed on multiple company sites. The role acts as the HSE reference point for logistics and transport operations , supporting the business in regulatory compliance, risk prevention, contractor management, and continuous improvement, while actively promoting a strong safety culture across sites and external partners. As HSE Lead Logistics & Transportation, you will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance with Company HSE policies , Italian and international HSE regulations , and transportation standards (ADR, IMDG, IATA, road and sea freight). Supporting the implementation, maintenance, auditing and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System related to logistics and transportation activities. Ensuring correct application of risk management processes (DVR, Risk Assessments, HAZID, task risk analysis) for logistics, transport, lifting and warehousing activities. Acting as HSE focal point during internal and external audits and inspections . Providing HSE support to: Warehousing and yard operations Material handling and lifting operations Packaging, packing & lashing, load securing Multimodal transport and project cargo Performing regular site inspections across warehouses, staging areas, packing areas and transport operations. Supporting HSE qualification, onboarding and monitoring of logistics contractors, carriers, suppliers and subcontractors . Promoting company HSE culture and expectations toward external partners. Leading or support incident, near-miss and unsafe condition reporting , investigation, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Promoting a strong HSE culture , including Safe to Start, Stop Work Authority and safety leadership initiatives. Contributing to environmental management activities (waste, packaging, spill prevention, emissions reduction). To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent HSE background Relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent); ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus. Solid experience in HSE roles within logistics, transportation, warehousing and/or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of: HSE risk management processes (DVR, RA) Contractor management Logistics and supply chain risks Good knowledge of Italian OHS and Environmental framework (RSPP qualification is a strong advantage). Fluent in Italian and English. Availability to work across multiple sites and operational environments.
