Contract Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Contracting Division of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following1) Negotiate prices, terms and conditions of contracts; 2) Performs cost and price analysis to determine cost/price reasonableness; 3) Perform all contractual post-award functions; 4) Conduct post award conferences with the contractor to clarify contractual requirements and special provisions.
