Why Join Us | DuPont Careers We are looking for a highly motivated US Payroll Administrator to perform the administration and maintenance of specific issues in pay and time impacting transactions into payroll systems and time systems within the Payroll Department. This position will be responsible for applying knowledge of local regulations, laws, and legal standards and services, works in tandem with the HR Service Center to ensure payroll is processed appropriately for the organization, analyze and administer HR service delivery programs, investigates and resolves daily employee payroll service problems. Job Responsibilities: Acts as subject matter expert and / or resources to others for payroll processing transactions; analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures Reviews, analyzes and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections using established procedures Completes pre / post payroll processing activities based on implemented procedures Proactively identifies and researches potential payroll issues and recommends courses of action in the development of new procedures and policies related to payroll operations Review, audit and troubleshooting challenges as it relates to the garnishment process (internal entry, submissions to agencies and third parties) Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or other related fields Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on U.S. payroll administration experience in an in-house or shared services environment, including end-to-end payroll processing and administration for large-scale organizations with a workforce of 2,500 employees or more. Working knowledge of end-to-end payroll procedures and other pay-impacting processes such as GL reconciliation is strongly preferred; knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures is preferred Experience in using / managing one or more of the following systems is strongly preferred: Service Now; Workday; SAP Payroll; GlobalView; UKG Pro Able to work with confidential information, attention to details and accuracy, often in time-critical situations Effective communication skills to work with all levels of employees Experience partnering with business and function resources; third party vendors / outsourcers Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas is highly preferred.
