Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
  • A minimum of 7 years of professional dental practice, demonstrating a commitment to ambitious standards of patient care
  • Experience in a large, complex urban health system or public safety-net institution
  • Deep understanding of health equity, population health, and community-based care models

Job Summary Position Summary: Grady Health System, Georgia's largest safety-net hospital and a national leader in trauma and public health care, is seeking a dynamic Chief of Dental Services. The Chief of Dental Services will play a pivotal role in providing both administrative and clinical leadership within our dental department. This position is vital in ensuring that performance measures are met, overseeing the assessment and management of oral health concerns related to our diverse population, and guiding our dedicated team. Additionally, they will participate in research initiatives focused on dental care for HIV-infected individuals and take charge of grant activities, including bringing in added resources. A key component of this position is managing the Advanced Education in Dentistry (AEGD) program at Grady's Oral Health Center.
