Warehouse Assistance Manager cum Driver

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations
• Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, sort, and store incoming goods, supplies, and materials.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and label items according to delivery orders.
• Stock Checks: Conduct regular physical inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and report discrepancies.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Loading/Unloading: Manually or mechanically load and unload heavy cargo from containers and delivery vehicles.
• Driving & Delivery
• Timely Deliveries: Plan efficient daily delivery routes to ensure prompt and safe delivery of goods to various locations.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks on the delivery vehicle (e.g., oil, tires, lights) and maintain its cleanliness.
• Documentation: Verify delivery orders, invoices, and obtain customer signatures or process payments upon delivery.
• Compliance: Adhere to all local traffic laws and road safety regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4]
• Requirements & Qualifications
• License: Valid local driving license (e.g., Class 3 or Class 4) with a clean driving record.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role is preferred.
