Firmware Developer

Responsibilities

• As a firmware engineer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Review the product and hardware specifications, and write the firmware design specifications.
• Use C and C++ to implement the configuration and security features of the FPGA devices.
• Write the unit test and system test to test the firmware features.
• Use the Emulator and/or FPGA Silicon to validate the user flows.
• Collaborate with hardware and validation engineers on co-engineering and joint debug of complex system level issues.
• Salary Range
• The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences , trainings , etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.
• $178.9 - $259.0 USD
• We use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for the position.

Requirements

• BS degree or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent and:
• 5+ years C/C++ programming experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, assembly, and debugging tools.
• Strong system-level debug skills.
• Good understanding and extensive experience with RTOS, device driver development.
• Good understanding of CPU architecture.
• Good understanding of production security and crypto.
• Experience on functional safety and FuSA compliance.
