Assistant Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Support waiters during service by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Assist with table setup and breakdown before and after service
• Clear tables efficiently, replace cutlery and glassware, and reset tables as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
• Communicate effectively with waiters, kitchen, and bar teams to support smooth service flow
• Assist in maintaining service standards in line with LUURA SOPs
• Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from the manager on duty
• Support opening and closing duties as assigned
• Handle equipment, trays, and service items carefully and safely
• Respond promptly to guest requests when directed by the waiter or manager
• Who We're Looking For
• Previous experience in hospitality is a plus, but not required
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Physically able to stand for long periods and carry trays as required
• Oral proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Well-presented, polite, and professional at all times.
