Requirements

• Ph.D. in French History. If there are no qualified applicants, we may consider senior doctoral candidates or applicants with Ph.D.s in a related field of History.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in the history and historiography of the French Revolution .
• Demonstrated scholarly engagement with the historical profession .
• Experience in teaching undergraduate university History courses .
• Evidence of teaching excellence in History at the undergraduate university level (e.g., letters of reference, course/performance evaluations, and/or other components of a teaching dossier) .
• Note: This position involves working with teaching assistants.
