Senior Design Engineer (Automotive)

Responsibilities

• Work with system architect on new product definitions.
• Carry out development activities from design, layout, simulation to validation.
• Layout supervision and verification.
• Preparation of test plan.
• Product characterization.
• Support bench evaluation both at the silicon level and application level.
• Documentation.
• Behavioral modeling of analog and mixed-mode circuits.
• Develop leadership on the domain of skill and actions.
• Coach junior team members on design knowledge and way of working.

Requirements

• MSEE.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience of analog design.
• Experience in power switch design and production is preferred.
• Extensive experience in switching DCDC regulators design e.g. multi-phase buck, boost and buck-boost converters. Deep understanding of different control architectures.
• Understanding of Mix-signal IC design.
• Knowledge of device physics and process technologies that are applicable to Power IC design.
• Creative thinker with capability of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems.
• Excellent written and oral communications with experience in specification creation, technical report writing and test plans / instructions.
• Expertise in HSPICE/PSPICE/Spectre simulator.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
• Team player with ability of working in a cross-functional-team environment.
