After Sales Support Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning
• Install and commission industrial equipment at customer sites
• Perform equipment testing and ensure proper machine operation before handover
• Conduct machine calibration and functional checks
• Technical Support
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers
• Resolve equipment faults efficiently to minimise customer downtime
• Preventive Maintenance
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and servicing
• Replace worn components and perform machine adjustments
• Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation
• Customer Training
• Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
• Advise customers on machine parameters and best operating practices
• Support customers with application and production-related enquiries
• Continuous Improvement
• Escalate recurring technical issues to internal engineering teams
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and customer satisfaction
• Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and technical events when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, installation, or after-sales technical support
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable performing hands-on work at customer sites
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation
• Willing to travel within Singapore for onsite support
• Preferred Experience
• Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an advantage:
