Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across Level 4 Counselling programmes
• Support learners to develop counselling knowledge, skills and professional practice
• Facilitate group discussions and reflective learning
• Assess student work and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Track learner progress and support achievement
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support delivery and quality

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in counselling (Level 4 or above)
• Experience working in a counselling or therapeutic setting
• Confidence delivering to adult learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A supportive, empathetic and professional approach
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

Do you have experience in counselling and a passion for supporting others to develop their skills and confidence? This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners studying counselling, helping them develop both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to progress into the sector. You'll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive learning environment where students can grow and succeed. This position is part time, teaching 9 hours per week and 33 weeks per year.
