[What you will be working on] In this role, you will: Collaborate with research institutions and industry partners to conduct R&D programs that contributes to the advancement of local aquaculture industry. Manage and maintain broodstocks to support the conduct of breeding programs for Asian seabass, red snapper and other identified species, ensuring consistent supply of superior eggs and larvae to support the industry Identify knowledge or technology gaps related to breeding and broodstock management, developing solutions through targeted R&D projects that translate scientific advances into practical applications for local farms. Monitor and evaluate broodstock performance through systematic data collection and field trials ensuring breeding programmes deliver measurable improvements in productivity and sustainability. Provide technical support and training on fish and shrimp husbandry, breeding techniques and aquaculture best practices to industry stakeholders, facilitating knowledge transfer and adoption of developed solutions. Perform duties as required for the smooth operation of the Marine Aquaculture Centre [What we are looking for] Our requirements: Ability to design, conduct and manage R&D projects from conception to implementation. Knowledge and experience in broodstock management and fish reproductive biology Experience with shrimp broodstock management and breeding is an advantage Proficiency in data analysis and research methodologies Prepared to work on weekends and after office hours when necessary Team player with good writing, communication and interpersonal skills Experience in managing and coordinating multi-stakeholder collaborations is an advantage. Able to work in the office, field or offshore environments Where you are expected to work at: Marine Aquaculture Centre (St John's Island)
