In order to qualify for an Inventory Management Specialist, GS-2010 at the GS-11 level, you must have: A. Completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related; OR B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1) providing integrated management and control of activities involving specialized supplies and equipment; 2) planning and determining current and future requirements for the major supply groups assigned; 3) maintaining inventory control records in an automated system; 4) investigating discrepancies between the physical inventory and the inventory database in order to review corresponding records and resolve problems; 5) developing documents and reports on inventory results; OR C. A combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
