About the role
The Civil Engineer will thrive with a variety of engineering project design opportunities available. The Civil Engineer will support and at times lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of design work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis. These responsibilities include: Expertly collaborates with design teams, clients and regulatory agencies to grasp project vision. Performs technical writing for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums. Applies construction knowledge to oversee builds. Support project managers with construction administration tasks. Leads project management tasks and cross-functional teams. Completes project tasks from start to finish, supporting project and client services managers. Analyze facilities for system deficiencies regarding compliance with local, state, and federal standards and regulations. Provide improvement alternatives to meet compliance with such regulations.
