Production Supervisor

Requirements

• Have a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, including production planning experience and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ideally able to read production drawings.
• Willing to be hands-on and learn the operation of all machines.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
• Experience in SAP is an added advantage.

Additional Information

Ensure all consumables are delivered to the production work stations on time. Responsible for reviewing production orders received from Sales and plan out daily production schedules Chair toolbox meeting & check attendance of Team Leads and Operators at the start of the shift to ensure all required employees are available. If overtime work is deemed necessary, arrange early in the shift and submit overtime requests to the Production Manager for timely approval. Adherence to approved manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality specifications in the manufacturing process. Conduct random check and ensure correct quantity and quality of finished components has been produced. Safety at Work - proper use of equipment, elimination of potential safety hazards, correct use of PPE, gloves, ear plugs, dust masks etc. Recommend any safety improvements. Housekeeping and cleanliness in accordance with 6'S' principles. Highlight to Production Manager for any training required for operators. Perform other duties as required by the Production Manager.
