Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician who thrives in a collaborative team environment. In this role, you will play a key role working towards the timely and quality delivery of Diode products. Your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining all production equipment in our wafer fabrication facility to ensure all equipment are available to meet production needs in a safe and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues on the floor will contribute to maintaining optimal production performance. The ideal candidate should possess a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience working with manual production equipment, and the ability to adhere to strict safety standards. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and professional growth and development opportunities. Performing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Maintaining current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studying equipment performance and reliability. Establishing programs and solutions for increasing equipment uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Providing technical support to the production operators and process engineering teams. Defining and creating preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures. Requirements/Qualifications: Technical or Military training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field. 7+ years of relevant equipment maintenance and repair experience. Ability to read and understand electrical and electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams and flow charts. Experience in component level troubleshooting of analog and digital circuits. Experience soldering and desoldering components on printed circuit boards. Experience troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses. Ability to test and evaluate the condition of electrical components such as transistors, diodes, resistors and capacitors with an analog or digital multimeter. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to equipment safety and performance.
