About the role

The IT Security Analyst II will perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports are internal control reports on the products and services provided by a service organization detailing valuable information that users need to assess and address the risks associated with an outsourced relationship. SSAE (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements) is the standard which governs the details for conducting an internal controls assessment at a service provider. A SOC Report is a third-party control audit on business units and strategic environments within FIS, which then produces both product/solution-based reports as well as data center General Computing Controls (GCC) reports.

Responsibilities

  • Exec communication and presence - develop communications and presentations for C-suite and other leadership consumption
  • Project management

  • Influence, negotiation, and prioritization
  • Develop a thorough understanding of controls, assurance, and testing
  • Utilization of cloud-based software solutions and software to manage audits and perform BAU tasks
  • Gain an understanding of FIS Corporate/ Leveraged Infrastructure and LOB operations and how those functions impact audit and assurance interests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. 3+ years of applicable experience desired for this position.
  • Knowledge of basic IT general controls
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities, and schedules
  • Intermediate to advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and/or client
