WICA - Non Motor Claims

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer a portfolio of Non-Motor Claims, including Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA), General Insurance, and Reinsurance claims.
• Review claim documentation, evaluate policy coverage, and determine liability and claim quantum in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Register new claims accurately and ensure timely updates throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Handle and correspond with third-party claimants, insureds, intermediaries, legal representatives, medical providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate claim resolution.
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information to support claim assessment and settlement recommendations.
• Negotiate claim settlements with claimants and relevant parties to achieve fair and commercially sound outcomes.
• Assist Senior Executives and Assistant Managers in managing complex claims, reporting requirements, and day-to-day claims operations.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Possession of professional insurance certifications such as CGI, PGI, or equivalent is preferred. Candidates who are not yet certified may be sponsored by the Company to obtain the relevant qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment..
• Willing to provide additional support during peak periods when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
