Job Description Provide preventative maintenance support under general guidance in an entry-level Mold Maintenance Technician role. Perform Level 3 preventative maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures and standards. Assist with minor repairs to support equipment reliability and uptime. Work under the supervision and direction of Mold Maintenance Technician II or III team members. Gain hands-on experience while developing technical skills in mold maintenance and repair. This role is designed to build foundational knowledge and prepare for progression within the maintenance team. Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with a structured 2-3-2 schedule Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) 1. Monitor the supply of spare parts, pins, pilots, etc., and communicate the needs to the Mold Technician 3. 2. Complete minor repairs on molds 3. Become proficient with L3 mold pm and schedule 4. Work under supervised training to learn pin replacement, cavity replacement and piston replacement. 5. Report all cases of possible tool abuse and unusual problems to the Lead Person. 6. Clean all dirt, grease, corrosion, and gas from components before returning them to the Mold Technician for re-inventory or repair and mark damage including the damaged part. 7. Learn proper the proper way to hone pilots, as well as, lapping. 8. Apply all necessary resources to improve quality repairs, ensuring highest possible cavitation in production 9. Stay in sync with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including HCRA Hazardous Waste regulations. 10. Follow all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles. 11.
