Job Description Summary Job Description Scope The successful candidate will lead the Grid Automation North America Strategy & Growth organization responsible for developing the overall growth strategy for the region. This team will drive growth of the full GE Grid Automation portfolio including but not limited to distribution automation, microgrid systems, SCADA, digital substations, PLTE, etc. into renewable energy, transmission, distribution and industrial markets. The candidate will work with existing and new customers leading the development and deployment of our project solutions and services. The candidate will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, manages budgets, and oversees campaigns across various channels to drive sales and brand growth. Key responsibilities include analyzing market data, leading marketing teams, collaborating with other functions including sales and product development. The candidate will utilize their past experience, internal/external resources, and partners to ensure that GE Vernova delivers quality solutions. This person will interact with sales partners, leaders, and technical resources from other businesses within GE Vernova. Essential Responsibilities Lead and manage a growing team of ~8 growth and marketing leaders Develop and execute market growth strategies for the North America Grid Automation organization (GA NAM) Leads the regional Long-Term Strategy (LTS) process for GA NAM ... refines strategy on an on-going basis as new details emerge Acts as the liaison between the GA sales team and the GA product line Lead and promote Solutions and Services customer opportunities jointly with the sales organization Lead Annual Market Assessment for the region Analyze market trends and customer data to identify and guide strategies to advise wider organization on developing market opportunities Lead and facilitate growth campaigns to expand business outreach Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure strategic alignment and achieve shared objectives Lead new product and solutions requirements specification for North America and drive plan with global product lines. Collaborate with GA sales directors to create a NAM market overview with a rolling 24-month outlook. Focused on customer challenges and value of solving those challenges segmented by market segments we serve. Collaborate with the Product Management team, Services, and R&D teams providing input to roadmap and capabilities and solutions needed to serve the market. Work with sales teams to support customer engagement, pre-qualification, and technical discussions for new solutions and services Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Marketing and/or Product Management Minimum of 10 years of experience in applicable markets (distribution, transmission, industrial and renewables) Willingness and ability to travel as required up to 30% Desired Characteristics Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic marketing initiatives Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools Demonstrated successful experience in working in a demanding, high-performance work environment and team-oriented culture and acts with a sense of urgency High emotional intelligence and must be able to think/act strategically but also be willing to "roll up sleeves" to lead the organization through transition/transformation Keen ability to "see around corners" and proactively identify issues and ownership to resolve them Strong business acumen and commercial mindset with the ability to lead, implement, and facilitate change ... especially in developing new go-to-market strategies Resilient and ability to lead through ambiguity by establishing clarity, building scalable processes, and creating stability Excellent verbal and written communication skills with polished presentation skills for external engagements Hands on people leader with sound people management and decision-making skills Effective communication, influencing and relationship building skills ... willingly engages in courageous discussions to drive the best outcomes for the business Customer focused ... ability to relate customers challenges to GE solutions and customer requirements Strong customer service, entrepreneurial and growth mindset Process and KPI driven Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
