- Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in audiovisual and information technology support, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity, preferably within a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in the design, installation, and support of complex AV systems, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), lecture capture, and digital signage.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop long-term technology roadmaps and manage complex projects from conception to completion.
- Proven experience in budget management, vendor negotiation, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a diverse technical team and build strong relationships with faculty, staff, and senior administrators.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), CTS-D (Design), or PMP (Project Management Professional).
