Responsibilities

  • Build and Maintain a Positive Student Culture
  • Provide restorative, reflective, and relationship-centered interventions for students experiencing behavioral challenges, with a focus on identifying root causes and supporting successful reentry into class.
  • Respond to behavior incidents and provide crisis intervention to minimize lost instructional time and maximize student engagement in learning.
  • Support the implementation of schoolwide culture systems, expectations, and behavior management practices to ensure a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment.
  • Partner with teachers and school leaders to proactively address student behavior concerns and develop strategies that support student growth and success.
  • Support Student Success Through Collaboration and Intervention
  • Collaborate with members of the Student & Family Support Team to implement behavior interventions and support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS/RTI).
  • Monitor and support student progress toward behavioral and social-emotional goals, using data to inform interventions and next steps.
  • Build strong partnerships with families through ongoing communication, problem-solving, and collaboration to support student growth both in and out of school.
  • Work closely with academy leadership, counselors, and other student support staff to ensure coordinated and effective support for students.
  • Contribute to schoolwide operations, student supervision, and other duties that help maintain a strong school culture and positive student experience.

  • Experience supporting student behavior, restorative practices, social-emotional learning, or school culture initiatives strongly preferred.
