Cyber Defense Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT security, ideally within a cyber défense or SOC environment in a multinational, matrixed organization.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in security incident handling and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and Microsoft 365 Security Suite.
• Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, TISAX).
• Strong understanding of Windows Server and desktop environments; exposure to Linux is advantageous.
• Experience with hypervisors, firewall administration, and patch management.
• Background in digital forensics and log analysis.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively; ITIL knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; business-level fluency in English.
• Additional Requirements:
• Clean criminal record.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents outside standard business hours.
