Responsibilities

• Drive Regional P&L and Commercial Growth
• Revenue Leadership: Champion ambitious revenue and volume growth objectives for the FX and DCI product suites across the Malaysia and Singapore markets.
• FX Strategy & Acceleration: Establish FX as a premier revenue generator by capitalizing on market opportunities and expanding the Foreign Currencies book across the PFS, Priority, and Private Banking channels.
• DCI Market Expansion: Accelerate DCI penetration and volume expansion via precision-targeted product positioning, innovative portfolio structuring, and robust cross-selling initiatives.
• Strategic Execution & Lifecycle Management
• Campaign Conceptualization: Design, execute, and monitor high-impact marketing and sales campaigns uniquely calibrated for the nuances of Retail, Priority, and Private Banking clientele.
• Rollover Desk Optimization: Enhance the efficiency and strategic deployment of the rollover desk to boost client retention, stimulate reinvestments, and secure recurring DCI revenue streams.
• Stakeholder Synergy & Ecosystem Integration
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Forge strong partnerships with Segment Heads, Relationship Management teams, and Digital Banking leaders to seamlessly integrate FX and DCI solutions into routine client advisory and digital touchpoints.
• Retail Ecosystem Leveraging: Collaborate extensively with the broader PFS organization to harness existing retail banking infrastructure and digital platforms, effectively scaling products for the all segments.
• Global Markets, Treasury & Product Alignment: Work in lockstep with Global Markets , Wealth Product Specialists, and Business Finance to guarantee competitive market pricing, maintain a robust product pipeline, and ensure flawless trade execution.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Achievement of total FX and DCI revenue against established regional targets for Malaysia and Singapore.
• Year-over-year growth metrics for the Foreign Currencies book and the active DCI client base.
• Transaction volume and digital penetration rates for FX solutions .
• Optimization of the rollover efficiency rate and overall portfolio retention metrics for DCI products.
• J ob Requirements
• Education & Certifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline. Professional certifications such as CFA or relevant regulatory qualifications are highly advantageous.
• Extensive Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience within the financial services sector, with a dedicated focus on Wealth Management, Global Markets, or Treasury operations.
• Technical Domain Expertise: Deep, specialized knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) dynamics, Dual Currency Investments (DCI), structured products, and derivative pricing, coupled with a strong understanding of market risk.
• Proven Leadership & P&L Ownership: A demonstrable track record in a strategic role, showing success in managing regional P&L, driving commercial growth, and scaling product portfolios across distinct wealth segments.
• Strategic Vision & Execution: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market trends and translate them into actionable, high-impact marketing and sales strategies tailored for diverse client profiles.
• Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Superior interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the proven ability to foster alignment and collaborate effectively with key internal partners such as Global Markets, Treasury, and varied banking segment heads.
• Regulatory Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of the financial regulatory landscapes, compliance frameworks, and governance standards in both Malaysia and Singapore will be beneficial.
