Steel Logistics & Loadout Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in steel shipping, material handling, or structural steel operations.
• At least two years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and vertical mast lifts.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and quality-focused workplace.
• Experience using Tekla EPMgo or comparable production, inventory, or shipping management software.
• Background working within structural steel fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, load planning, and transportation coordination.

Steel Logistics & Loadout Supervisor Location: Cocoa Beach, FL Shift: Day Shift (with potential responsibility for supporting evening operations) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: Starting at $26.00 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Steel Logistics & Loadout Supervisor to coordinate daily shipping operations within a structural steel manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring fabricated materials are prepared, verified, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently while providing leadership and guidance to shipping personnel. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in steel handling, equipment operation, team leadership, and shipment coordination in a fast-paced production setting.
