Corporate Counsel supports the company's legal operations in a variety of matters, with a focus that includes general corporate matters, regulatory and compliance matters, insurance, vendor contract negotiations, internal corporate policies and procedures, along with drafting and negotiating other transactional matters. Responsibilities, other duties as assigned: Overseeing construction and infrastructure/energy related legal matters Negotiating and drafting energy and vendor contracts as well as various other transactional matters Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance Assisting with compliance with various domestic and international privacy laws Assisting with management of the Company's insurance program and operations Assisting with a variety of other legal functions such as loans, joint ventures, acquisitions, general corporate matters, real estate, intellectual property protection, tax abatement, litigation, etc.; Managing collections on customer accounts Performing a broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the company, as assigned. Working with and managing outside counsel, counter-parties, insurers, and other third parties as needed.
