About the role

Presbyterian Hearth & Vascular program is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary Cardiology group of Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Structural Cardiologists and CT Surgeons. This team plays a prominent role in New Mexicos cardiac care and has a goal of becoming recognized as the premier place for Cardiology care. Responsibilities

  • *Performs with the knowledge, skills and abilities to support the execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the clinic/laboratory setting.
  • *Makes all professional judgments in the cardiac care of patients seen
  • *Collaborates with colleagues in the management of patients, both in the hospital and outpatient settings
  • *Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship
  • *Participates in system wide health management initiatives
  • *Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards
  • *Collaborates with referring and consulting providers to optimize patient experience
  • *Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives
  • *Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops
