System Engineer - Singaporean Only !

Responsibilities

• Provide Day 2 production support for mission-critical applications and platform services
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement timely resolutions
• Support production deployments, rollbacks, and post-deployment verification activities
• Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and alerts to ensure high availability
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Implement automation for build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes
• Manage and support containerized applications using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
• Support deployment and operations of applications built with React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
• Troubleshoot container and Kubernetes-related issues across environments
• Perform Linux and Windows system administration, including patching and maintenance
• Manage application environments across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production
• Maintain operational documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, and deployment guides
• Support observability tools including monitoring, alerting, and logging platforms
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support when required to ensure service continuity
• Key Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Application Support, or Production Support roles
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins
• Experience working with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes environments
• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, Python, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, or eG Enterprise
• Understanding of security best practices, including system hardening and vulnerability management
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical environments is an advantage
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) is a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational support environment.
