Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a key hire as we scale our operations across the US and UK, and you will work closely with the VP, Finance and our UK-based Staff Accountant to ensure the financial integrity of the business. Working location This is a fully remote role based on the East Coast of the United States. You will be expected to overlap with US business hours and collaborate regularly with colleagues in the UK. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification or active pursuit strongly preferred.
• Several years of demonstrable, hands-on accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology business.
• Experience working across both US and UK finance functions, with an understanding of multi-currency, multi-entity environments.
• Demonstrable experience in a scale-up or high-growth business, with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with UK GAAP or IFRS is a plus.
• Proficiency with modern accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate output under deadline pressure.
• Strong communicator with the ability to translate numbers into clear, actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders.
