About the role
This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: -Leading and overseeing end-to-end talent acquisition or staffing operations (including executive hiring), ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with applicable requirements; AND -Managing and improving the performance of talent acquisition programs, including establishing and monitoring metrics related to hiring timeliness, quality, compliance, and applicant experience, and implementing process improvements to enhance service delivery; AND -Leading recruitment, outreach, or workforce attraction strategies designed to expand applicant pools, strengthen candidate quality, and support organizational hiring goals through partnerships with internal stakeholders and external organizations; AND -Overseeing shared service providers, HR systems, or operational service delivery models supporting staffing and recruitment functions, ensuring accountability, data integrity, and alignment with organizational needs; AND -Supervising and leading multidisciplinary teams, including setting priorities, managing performance, developing staff, and directing the work of talent acquisition functions. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
