Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working with product design teams from roadmapping through delivery
• Experience working directly with product designers, user experience researchers, and content designers
• Track record of operating under your own initiative and without oversight
• Experience leading product or business strategy in a time-sensitive environment
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
• Experience managing time-critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a wide-range of stakeholders

Design Program Manager, WhatsApp Responsibilities: Identify and drive large product initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines and many moving parts - Roadmapping & Design Planning Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions and communicate strategically Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve product team efficiency and impact Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives and establish clear next steps and owners, while resolving blocks that impede progress Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems for larger teams Sought out as the operations subject-matter expert to the management team and trusted leader to cross-functional partners Communicate persuasively to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback and distribute information effectively Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively, continually refining and iterating to ensure usage and adoption Design Portfolio Reporting & Tracking Scale programs and initiatives when necessary Operationalize & influence Design sprints Drive and support Design quality, craft, education efforts
