Responsibilities
- Regional Leadership: Serve as the accountable leader for the LATAM Analytics practice, acting as the senior representative of the Data Analytics craft in Argentina and owning team performance, quality, and culture.
- Team Building: Lead the hiring, onboarding, and development of the Buenos Aires analytics team, starting from the ground up and scaling strategically in partnership with global leadership.
- Strategic Analytics: Define and execute an analytics strategy for the LATAM team that aligns with global objectives and drives measurable value for clients across analytics, data science, and business intelligence.
- Data & Insights: Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to optimize client outcomes across customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, and overall business performance.
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Apply and guide the application of predictive analytics, machine learning, and attribution modeling to enhance personalization, campaign efficiency, and ROI.
- Measurement & Reporting: Define and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting structures that deliver clear, actionable insights for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with U.S. Analytics leadership and cross-functional teams - including marketing, product, and technology - to integrate data into strategic decision-making at the global level.
- Culture & Development: Build a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement; mentor team members and foster individual growth aligned with DEPT®'s craft standards.
- Technology & Innovation: Drive R&D into AI-driven analytics and automated insight generation; champion the adoption of best-in-class tools and methodologies within the LATAM team.
- Privacy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance regulations across all client and internal work.
- Communication & Influence: Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives, effectively communicating with both technical practitioners and senior non-technical stakeholders.
- WHAT YOU BRING
- 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary data teams.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling an analytics practice, ideally within an agency, consultancy, or matrixed global organization.
- Proven track record of applying analytics to marketing, digital experiences, and customer lifecycle management.
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analytics tools; familiarity with AI/ML applications in a marketing context is a strong plus.
- Experience with web analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager; Adobe Analytics exposure is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries and time zones.
- A reputation for developing talent and building high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish fluency is expected, given regional executive responsibilities.
