About the role
We are seeking a skilled HRIS / Workday Specialist to manage and optimize our Talent systems. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, ensure data integrity, support reporting and analytics, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities
- Support HRIS-related inquiries and ensure the system meets the needs of the Talent department and other stakeholders, troubleshooting system issues via tickets and enhancement requests.
- Participate in intake and prioritization of HRIS requests and enhancements.
- Support and maintain Workday integrations, ensuring accurate data flow across systems.
- Manage Workday security roles and support segregation of duties and audit controls.
- Contribute to HRIS roadmap planning and strategic initiatives.
- Perform impact analysis and testing for Workday releases and updates.
- Develop and generate reports to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through system enhancements and collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS processes, configurations, and updates.
- Ensure HRIS compliance with data protection regulations and company policies to protect sensitive information.
- Participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday HCM Core and other Talent modules.
- 2+ years on an HRIS or Talent Technology team in HR, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors; Studio a plus).
- Knowledge of Workday security framework and access management.
- Experience with advanced Workday reporting (calculated fields, data validation).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical/system solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
