Accounting Technician, Americas

Responsibilities

• You'll focus on what matters-delivering high-quality financial processing and control across the Americas. That means:
• Managing accounts payable processes end-to-end, from invoices to payment runs
• Keeping supplier and system data accurate in Workday and other finance platforms
• Supporting month-end close , including journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting monthly financial data to Group Finance
• Helping ensure taxes and payments are recorded, reconciled and completed on time
• Maintaining strong internal controls and procedures
• Supporting colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers with queries and requests
• Contributing to continuous improvement across the team
• You'll take ownership of your work, helping us deliver consistent, high standards across our finance operations.

Requirements

• We're looking for someone who's curious, organised and ready to grow.
• A background in accounting, finance or banking
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy
• Confidence working with data and systems (Excel and financial tools)
• Clear communication skills-you'll work with teams across the business
• The ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (including double entry)
• A degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
