ABOUT YOUR ROLE In this role, you will be accountable for developing and implementing various strategic supply chain initiatives that aimed to improve delivery performance, service levels and profitability across global Embelex business. Your primary focus will be on leading the key aspects of the Global Supply Chain in process standardization, supply chain digitization, and efficiency optimization focusing on EU and US production sites. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Strategic Initiatives: Develop and support strategic initiatives to drive global order allocation in order to optimize inventory, minimize cost, drive efficient and profitable supply chain. This includes analysis for production location, subcontracting, inventory, distribution, and transportation to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process improvements to ensure efficient and effective operations. Global Supply Chain Management: Initiate global/regional supply chain strategies and support sites to build up global supply chain processes and responsibilities. Leverage and standardize best practices across global manufacturing sites and monitor their execution. Elevate planning and scheduling capabilities and tools across manufacturing sites. Crisis Management: Lead cross functional team in global crisis of material shortage, demand surge, unexpected issues. Provide guidance and support to sites for crisis management of preventive actions and immediate actions to ensure service consistency throughout the year. Develop business contingency plans with regions and drive their execution. Collaboration and Integration: Be an active member of the Global Supply Chain during the digitization journey. Represent supply chain in the company's digitization project and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, operations, planning, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain planning activities in future ERP systems. Support program management with launch and deployment of new programs. Serving as the single point of contact for Operations and Supply Chain with the retail brand. Establishing a regular cadence with the retail brand to review operational and supply chain performance. Minimum of 5 years experience in Project management and Supply Chain planning, ideally in garment/garment accessories industry Proven track record of leading large-scale supply chain transformations in multinational and complex organizations and are open to traveling both domestic and international. Well-organized and detail-oriented, plus follow-through and multitasking abilities Able to work independently and as a player in a team Good numerical sense. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint..etc. and able to drive supply chain analysis and discussion. Able to work under pressure, tight schedule and flexible for night calls Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin. PMP, Lean Six Sigma or other project management certification is a plus.
