SOX Analyst I/II

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close ( journal entries, reconciliations, SEC and management reporting, variance analysis )
• Prepare reports, schedules, and financial analyses
• Support audits with clear documentation
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Improve processes with a focus on efficiency and automation
• SOX & Controls (Level II focus; exposure at Level I)
• Support SOX compliance activities
• Participate in segregation of duties reviews
• Improve and automate controls and processes
• Level I: Support day-to-day accounting activities, Build knowledge of systems and processes
• Level II : Own deliverables and work independently, Guide team members and solve complex issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Level I: 1+ year experience or internship
• Level II: 2+ years experience (energy preferred)
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred
