Responsibilities

  • Define a scalable software and control architecture to support our manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of IT/OT networks, MES and Traceability, SCADA, integration into machinery.
  • Experience with supplier management and remote team collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%.
  • Experience with AGVs/AMRs is a plus
  • Experience in high-volume thin ceramics, solar, and battery manufacturing is a plus

This role will report to the Director of Advanced Manufacturing and will be based in Fremont, CA . This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week. We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to be the architecture of a scalable IT/OT infrastructure based on the latest technology. In this role, you work closely with cross functional team across the company to define and implement a scalable architecture which can efficiently and effectively bridge the gaps between Machinery Control, Product Traceability, Enterprise Software, SCADA, and Data Visualization. This role will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of proprietary equipment, software, and IT/OT infrastructure critical to our company's success. This role requires a proven track record in equipment design, automation, and integration within R&D and manufacturing environments.
