Responsibilities

  • Delivering training modules within Electrical Marine Engineering to the Royal Navy
  • Conducting both theory and practical training in Electrical Engineering

  • Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience within Electrical/Engineering
  • Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
  • Competent Electrical practical/hand skills
  • Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment
  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.

  • This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata'd and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
