Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and evaluate- Aerodynamic design and analysis of turbine components.
  • Mean-Line & Quasi-3D Aerodesign - Use mean-line, through-flow, and blade-to-blade tools to generate first-cut turbine designs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with focus on turbomachinery, aerodynamics, or thermal sciences
  • 3+ years of experience in turbine aerodynamics or hot-gas-path work
  • Strong understanding of turbomachinery aerodynamics, loss modelling, and flow physics.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D CFD (CFX) for turbomachinery flow analysis and performance evaluation.
  • Strong capability in mean-line/throughflow/2D blade analyses
  • Experience in blade shape optimization
  • Solid foundation in heat transfer , compressible-flow physics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Proficient in using CAD software (NX or equivalent).
