We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Product Owner (Asset Accounting). This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : This role is for a Product Owner on the Finance Continuous Design Asset Accounting Team of the Digital Core Project, and is focused on transforming asset accounting processes using SAP S4 HANA. Key responsibilities include leading process transformation, collaborating with finance SMEs and IT partners, managing change, aligning system and business requirements, and fostering team collaboration. Important skills include knowledge of asset accounting process including understanding of key accounting principles (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS), analytical thinking, relationship building, and the ability to motivate teams toward common goals. Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Coordinate and direct efforts across different departments to successfully carry out process transformation of the Digital Core Project. This involves conducting detailed process discovery sessions, creating global processes that comply with organizational standards, and addressing specific segment or local design needs to ensure they stay relevant. Demonstrate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) from the Finance team to thoroughly understand business needs. Work closely with IT colleagues and external partners to develop a complete understanding of the S/4HANA solution and its features, supporting informed decision-making. Ensure Requirement Compliance: Oversee the entire lifecycle of requirements to guarantee that all business and functional needs are fulfilled. This involves leading design reviews, system development, and thorough testing activities to verify that the solutions align with business objectives. Lead Change Management Efforts: Proactively manage change related to process transformations by developing and executing change management strategies. This includes preparing stakeholders for upcoming changes, addressing potential resistance, and ensuring the transition is smooth and effective. Support Implementation and Deployment: Provide ongoing assistance for efforts to implement process changes and deploy new system features. This includes training end-users on new procedures, leading workshops, and offering guidance as needed to ensure successful adoption. Requirements

  • Experience in JDE, SAP, or S4 Hana is an advantage, but not required.
  • Lease accounting background is preferred, but not required.
